I believe everything happens for a reason; good or bad, when you look far enough into the future. So I decided to physicalize that idea. I had read several articles about ordinary people doing extraordinary things just by by chance. One story was about two men walking home and both decided to take a different path and it led them to this building where a child accidentally fell out of the window and the men were there to catch the child. So I thought it would be interesting if those events were not chance but the workings of a mystical character who appears when needed. Kind of like the character in The Legend of Bagger Vance. And by linking these elements with Kevin’s story really brought the concept of chance vs. destiny to life.
