On set it wasn’t all that different than when we shot on film. It delivers a great image and I believe is a major tool for the future of filmmaking. So shooting with it wasn’t an adjustment at all. Working completely digitally in post, though, was quite interesting. Digital files are fantastic luxuries. We were able to edit faster and send shots to all departments, such as Visual Effects & Sound, with ease. However, there were no rules. Anything in post was possible. We were basically making the process up as we went along. Which means a lot of trial and error. But in the end we were able to streamline a complicated system and complete the film with intense FX and elaborate coloring on a low budget and master at 2K.
